How to be an AWESOME SFI Sponsor


If you already tried to be SFI Sponsor, you probably have a lot of questions: what should I do, how to react on something, how to deal with some problems, what not to do ect.

Because of that, I want to show you some of my TOP rules to be an awesome SFI Sponsor.

To be successful doing this job, you should follow few easy rules:


1. Be an example to others.
One of the most important rules s to be an example. If you want to have "hard-workers" and quality team, you should show your team how to become successful.

How to achieve this:


  • lead with examples, not just with words - SHOW your team that you really work in this company. Do not only tell what to do, how, to do and what they can achieve. SHOW THEM.
  • spread positive energy - if you do not want to have less and less members in your team or whole team with lot of negative energy, you should start to talk positive and spread positive energy. Try hard to distract attention from negative, compliment your members for their success - lead positive!
  • do not slow down - if you notice that someone really want to work (want to work more), do not stop them! It is good to push them a little bit if they really want to work. There is nothing wrong in working hard.
  • learn - every leader have this title because of learning. Learning is so important to succeed in this job. If you want to be an awesome leader you should take time and learn as much as you can. Be in some kind advantage, try to know more ("better), share your knowledge. If you want to show your team that you are truly leader, try to show them using your knowledge - show them that you really do know how to do this job.


2. Share your knowledge with others and be supportive.
If you really want to succeed in this business, you should learn your team how to be successful too. You will achieve this only if you are supportive and if you share your knowledge enough. Use everything you have to achieve this, because this is extremely important to them, but for you too.

Only way to be successful is to learn others how to do that!

How to achieve this:

  • write welcome message - it is very important to write welcome message that will introduce your new PSA with job and some basic information about job. At the end of that message, you should write your contact details and leave note that you are always there if they need your help.
  • write welcome mail - except welcome message in SFI, you should write an "welcome email" too. It is desirable to write something about job, introduce your members with working, send them some useful materials for start up and so on.
  • useful materials - if you are doing this job for some time, you probably have a lot of materials (documents, photos, ect.) to share. Something that helped you when you started to work in this company. Share that with your new member. If you have some great advice - share it! If you have some tips that you find useful - tell them too. Be supportive, always.
  • learn them to learn - despite everything, it is not desirable to "serve" everything you know on plate. Learn your members to find information they need, learn them to learn. In SFI, there is a lot of training material or questions/answers - that means there is no need for writing same thing over and over again. Show your members where they can find information (answer with sentence or two and put them link where they can see more details about their question).
  • motivation - everybody lose it sometimes. Like in other jobs (or anything else in life), something it is not perfect always. Try to motivate you workers. You can do that if you send them SOMETIMES PSA group mail with motivational message inside. 

3. Devote your time to our workers.
In this job it is everything about your capabilities and how much of your time you invest in this business. But in one moment, everybody find that sometimes is so hard to get new members. If you are doing this job for a long time now, you maybe will not have taht problem anymore but beginners always "taste that piece of cake". If you have this problem, what would you do when you find new PSA? You just got your PSA and you are spending a few hours to explain him/her something? WRONG!! If taht person really want to work, he/she will find answer very fast. Do not write novels! Show them where they can find some information and that's it.

4. Be quick.
Try to respond to your mails and messages in period of 24 hours (MAXIMUM).

5. Recognize workers.
Do not waste your time on someone who do not want to work. Someone who have a lot of questions and trying NOT to remember anything you said before. Check out your "MOVERS" Tab at SFI - there you can see which members of your team are the most active. Work with them! They are people who need your full attention.

6.Be there from a very start.


As soon as you got your PSA, you will get notification from SFI. If you are able to be online at the same time, hurry and start chat with your new member. You can start that conversation with simply question (after you introduce yourself): "How can I help you?". This is something everyone wants to hear when they do not know where to even start.



7. Check out VP Ledger page.
You should take a little bit of your time sometimes and check out VP Ledger site of you workers. Check if there is anything what they missed and show them how to collect more points.

8. Recognize success!
Even if your member achieve a tiny success, be nice and congratulate them. It is hard for everyone at the beginning - show them that they did something amazing!


9. Have you stared to follow SFI's rules of success?
You should! SFI's Rules Of Success are not there "just in case". You should follow this rules if you want to success. Read it (even 10 times per day every day) and run your business successfully.

WHAT NOT TO DO?

1. Ignore your member's questions and answering with automatic messages.
Everyone who is new in this business sometimes have question. You should be aware that somebody can'n so easy find answer. Try to response on every question you got even with a sentence or two. 
It is also very important not to answer with automatic mails / messages. You should take time for everybody. 

2. Try not to be bad example.
Do not do anything you do not want to your members to follow. Show them what and how to do.

3. Control your emotions.
Working with people is sometimes really hard. But you should control emotions and show them that you are nice and supportive person. Do not act annoyed in front of people. Even if you think that something is extremely "unnecessarily" to ask, take a deep breath and try to be sensible and supportive. Try to use this magic sentence: "I understand your problem, I will help you."

4. Do not work to much.
This is not advice for you. That means you should not do for your workers. You should do your job and they need to do do their job. If you start to work for someone else, you should expect that you will waste a lot of time doing this in future.

5. Focus.
It is very important to stay motivated. Not just you but your members too. Do not pay any attention to negative people. They will always stay like that - negative and you do not need that trying hard to achieve something.
